Our founder Max Tomlinson ND is an Australian trained naturopath, nutritionist and medical herbalist with over 30 years of clinical experience in both London and Sydney. Max has a special interest in Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases and runs a London clinic for the treatment and support of these two complex diseases. Max has always wanted to create a product range that helps people lose weight in a healthy and sustainable way. The GoFigure range is the culmination of years of experience in his clinics. Max is a qualified fitness instructor, qualifying at the London South Bank University. He is also an accomplished ultra-marathon runner, regularly competing in 100km and 100mile mountain trail races around the world.

Max has published two books, one of which, Target Your Fat Spots, has been translated into nine languages including Korean.

Max worked with Davina McCall on her new weight loss website, Get Fit with Davina, her sugar-free cookbook, new bikini diet and latest fitness DVD.

Max has worked with major celebrities including Davina McCall, Annie Lennox, Kylie Minogue, Richard Gere, Rowan Atkinson, Alison Sudol (latest JK Rowling movie) and members of the British, Bahrain and Greek Royal families. Max headed up the health team at KX Gym in Chelsea, England’s most exclusive health club. Some of the club’s members included Kylie Minogue, Gwyneth Paltrow, Hugh Grant, Natalie Imbruglia and SEAL.

He was voted one of the top 10 alternative practitioners in the UK by The Guardian Newspaper. He had a regular TV show in Australia and has made numerous guest appearances on UK television, including a regular slot on The Big Breakfast on Channel 4. Max had a regular column in Grazia and Marie Claire and created the ‘Espa Life’ spas at The Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland and at the new five star Corinthia hotel in London. He also appears regularly on Sky TV in the UK and has featured in, amongst others, Red, Vogue, Harpers & Bazaar, Marie Claire, Daily Mail, The Sunday Times: Style Magazine, Elle, Zest, Conde Nast Traveller and Time Out.
